As an owner at Mountain Club at Cashiers, you will enjoy a mountain home with a full list of amenities. One of those amenities includes privileges at Sapphire Valley Resort. Conveniently located across the street from your Mountain Club residence, the 5,700 acre Sapphire Valley Resort is a playground for the entire family.
Community Center and Family Activities
Inside the Sapphire Valley Resort Community Center you will discover activities for every family member including: socials, TV viewing rooms, a gift shop, BINGO, a library, nature center, board and video games, area information and special events.
Stop by the Recreation Center to check out gear for the Sapphire Valley Gem Mine. The Sapphire Velley Gem Mine is located next to the Recreation Center on the Horsepasture River and it give the kids a chance to uncover geological treasures.

Golf and Tennis
Red Bird Golf Links and Driving Range is a nine-hole executive golf course. Rent a cart, pull cart or even a set of clubs; walking is permitted. For those looking to improve their swing, two on-staff golf pros are available for lessons.
Play tennis, or sign up for a private lesson at the Sapphire Valley Racquet Club. The Club features eight Har-truTM courts and two hard courts, as well as a pro shop for all of your tennis needs.
Health and Fitness
Mountain Club owners have full access to the Sapphire Valley Recreation Center. Open daily from 8am to 9pm. This facility is the hub of activities at Sapphire Valley Resort; including indoor and outdoor pools, Jacuzzi, game room, ping pong, miniature golf, air hockey, croquet, foosball, horseshoe pits, tanning beds, facials, massage therapy, bicycle rental, arts and crafts classes. Enjoy a workout in the fitness room by yourself or with the assistance of a personal trainer.
Lake Fairfield
On the Sapphire Valley Resort grounds, Lake Fairfield is a beautiful natural destination. Enjoy year-around fishing, boating or swimming. Canoes, paddle boats and kayaks are all available for rental.
Skiing and Tubing
Those visiting during the winter months can enjoy skiing at Sapphire Valley which consists of a 1600 foot main run, state-of-the-art quad-lift, dedicated ski school for beginners and a rustic mountain style base lodge. For the beginners there is a learning slope. If skiing does not excited you, try tubing on the 500 feet run at the Frozen Falls Tube Park.
